Philadelphia Offense Jammed Up by Braves
|
Drue Hackenberg pitched a gem to lead Atlanta to victory over the Philadelphia Phillies, 4-1. The winning pitcher was Hackenberg, now 4-0. He tossed 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 10. The setback makes the Phillies 6-10.
Ronald Acuna Jr., who led the NL in hits with 217 in 2026, helped out the Atlanta cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the right fielder was 1 for 3 with a walk.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Acuna Jr. told the Atlanta Today.
