The Milwaukee Brewers picked up a win at Great American Ball Park, taking down the Cincinnati Reds, 5-2. Starting pitcher Corbin Burnes was a big reason why. The save was credited to Devin Williams, his 3rd. Milwaukee, now 9-2, is playing great baseball to start the year.
William Contreras, the 26-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Contreras contributed a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put Milwaukee up, 2-0.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Contreras said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
