Ozzie Martinez was a major factor in the 12-7 Toronto win over Texas. The Blue Jays left fielder was 4-5 with a home run and 3 doubles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. Texas is 3-7 after the loss.

With Toronto leading 8-7 in the top of the seventh, Martinez hit a slider from Rayner Urbaez for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Blue Jays ahead, 12-7.
