Dodgers Prevail, 4-3, Over San Francisco
|
The Los Angeles Dodgers did just enough to sneak past the San Francisco Giants, 4-3, at Dodger Stadium. Los Angeles pitcher Dustin May, in particular, had a standout performance. Los Angeles pitcher Brusdar Graterol got the win. He's now 1-0. Taylor Rogers was tagged with the loss. Evan Phillips sewed up the save, his 2nd.
Miguel Vargas aided the Los Angeles cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the second baseman was 2-4 with 2 singles.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said May.
The defeat makes San Francisco 2-4.
