Blue Jays Get Thrilling 5-4 Win
The Toronto Blue Jays topped the Seattle Mariners, 5-4, in 10 innings at Rogers Centre. The game was highlighted by the performance of Toronto pitcher Chris Eagleson. The win went to Chris Hordge in relief, making him now 11-6. Natanael Garabitos took the loss for Seattle. Toronto is now 73-89.

Toronto got a clutch hit from Manuel Beltre. The second baseman launched a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Beltre told the Toronto Daily News.
