The Tampa Bay Rays beat the Boston Red Sox by a score of 8-1. Tampa Bay shortstop Corey Seager deserved the lion's share of the credit. Seager was 4-5 with 4 singles, while scoring 2 runs for the Rays. Shane Baz picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 5 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 7.
