Texas registered a win at Angel Stadium of Anaheim by beating the Los Angeles Angels, 5-0. Pitcher Ty Madden was one reason why the Rangers triumphed. At 81-77, the Rangers are currently second in the American League West Division.

In his 105-pitch effort, Madden allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8.2 innings. He walked 2 and struck out 8.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Madden told the Texas News.
