Texas Gets 9-5 Win Against Mariners
|
The Texas Rangers knocked off the Seattle Mariners, 9-5, at Globe Life Field. Justin Foscue was a big reason Texas won. The first baseman went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Taj Bradley picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 18-11. With this game in the books, Texas is 86-70, Seattle 65-91.
Foscue contributed in the bottom of the second. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Texas get the win.
"Good win for us," said Foscue. "We'll lace up our cleats and go after the next one."
