The Pittsburgh Pirates got a strong performance from pitcher Soo-yoon Park, who stymied the Milwaukee offense en route to a win, 5-0, at PNC Park. The loss makes Milwaukee 64-92.

Matt Gorski had a big 3-run home run for the Pirates in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Pittsburgh leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a changeup from 36-year old right-handed pitcher Mike Clevinger and punished it. The result was his 14th home run of the season, which put the Pirates on top, 4-0.

"I warned the team before the game," losing manager Michael Jank told reporters, "that I'm wearing the same pair of undies until we win."
