The Minnesota Twins beat the Cleveland Guardians, 8-5, at Progressive Field. Jorge Polanco went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The 31-year old second baseman was a menace to Cleveland all day. Jhoan Duran earned the save for Minnesota, his 34th of the year. Today's win puts Minnesota at 82-71, while Cleveland falls to 61-93.

Alex Kirilloff, the 26-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Kirilloff contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Minnesota up, 5-3.
