Giants Stumble, Lose to Orioles
|
Baltimore third baseman Gunnar Henderson had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the San Francisco Giants, 8-3. Keegan Akin earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. His record is now 4-5. After today's action, Baltimore sits at 90-63, while San Francisco falls to 78-75.
The Orioles picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Henderson told the Baltimore Herald. "It's as simple as that."
