Pirates Topple Cardinals, 10-9, as Nunez Shines
In a tight contest at Busch Stadium, the Pittsburgh Pirates edged the St. Louis Cardinals by the score of 10-9. Pittsburgh first baseman Malcom Nunez, who blasted 2 home runs, was a key contributor. Pittsburgh reliever Wil Crowe picked up the win, upping his record to 3-5. Trevor Megill shouldered the loss. Pittsburgh's record now stands at 77-75, placing them third in the National League Central Division.

Pittsburgh needed the clutch hitting of Oneil Cruz to notch the win. The shortstop hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Pirates on top, 10-9. For the game, Cruz had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
