The Minnesota Twins found a way to sneak past the Detroit Tigers, 5-4, in 11 innings. Minnesota pitcher Joe Partington, for one, had a standout performance. The win went to Reynaldo Lopez in relief, making him now 5-0. Griffin Jax took the loss for Detroit. The Twins have an impressive 96-57 record.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Walker Jenkins? The 23-year old right fielder Jenkins stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 11th inning to put Minnesota up, 5-4. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Detroit manager Snake Clement.
