The Houston Astros had to overcome a good performance from Arizona pitcher Taylor Dollard to claim a 3-2 win at Minute Maid Park. Dollard went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. The Astros improved their record to 80-67 with the win over Arizona.

In the bottom of the ninth, Jacob Melton had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring walk to left off Arizona pitcher Dylan Floro.

"We were in it," said Arizona manager Jim Silveira Sr.. "We just didn't score enough runs."
