Colin Houck knocked in 3 runs to help Texas beat Los Angeles, 10-6. The Lilburn, Georgia native tallied 1 single and 1 home run. Yennier Cano earned the save for Texas, his 35th of the year.

In the top of the sixth, the Rangers took the lead, 5-3, when 29-year old catcher Luis Campusano hit a sacrifice fly.

Houck said his wife shared good advice with him before the game. "She said, 'Don't allow this game to make you mad.' When I thought about it, I realized this is just a game. I was able to relax at the plate."

With the win, the Rangers improved to 74-69.
