The 11-4 Toronto win over Kansas City was due largely to Miguel Rojas. The Blue Jays shortstop was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Toronto is now 67-75.

The Blue Jays got an important contribution from third baseman Orelvis Martinez, who in the bottom of the fifth knocked a full count slider to right for a 3-run home run. It was his 32nd home run of the season and put the Blue Jays ahead, 5-1.
