Palicka goes 4-for-4, Rays Move to 85-56
|
The Tampa Bay Rays beat the Texas Rangers, 3-1, at Globe Life Field. Tampa Bay second baseman Bobby Palicka had the hot bat. He went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Rays saw their win-loss record go to 85-56. At the same time, the Rangers fell to 68-73.
Early in the game, Palicka had a 2-run double for Tampa Bay. It was his 27th double of the season and put the Rays on top, 2-0.
"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Palicka.
