The Cincinnati Reds stymied the Milwaukee Brewers, 5-2, at Great American Ball Park. Spencer Steer had a good day at the plate. He went 4-4 with 4 singles for Cincinnati. Picking up the win was Rhett Lowder. He went 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits. The right--hander struck out 4 and walked 2. Alexis Diaz was credited with the save for Cincinnati, his 26th of the season.
