The fans at Globe Life Field witnessed quite a game.

The Texas Rangers knocked off the Minnesota Twins, 5-4, in American League action at Globe Life Field. Texas pitcher and Ciego de Avila, Cuba, native Nelson Palomares had an outstanding performance. The winner in relief was Joe Parks. He is now 1-1. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings.

The decisive blow was delivered by Victor Acosta in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 36-year old left-handed pitcher Joely Rodriguez to win the game for Texas. The home crowd went nuts.

"This house was rockin'," Acosta said.

The victory gives Texas a record of 70-67.
