Rangers Losers, 5-2, Versus Minnesota
|
Starting pitcher Tanner Hall took care of business, helping the Minnesota Twins stifle the Texas Rangers, 5-2. In 7.1 innings, Hall surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 3. He allowed 2 runs. Minnesota currently is in third place in the American League Central Division at 68-69.
It could have been a different outcome for Minnesota, had it not been for Carlos Correa, the two-time All-Star . Correa contributed a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put Minnesota up, 3-0.
"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Correa told the Minnesota Chronicle.
