Minnesota Falls Again, 6-1
|
At Globe Life Field, the Minnesota Twins and Texas Rangers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Rangers center fielder Evan Carter left his mark on his team's 6-1 win over the Minnesota Twins. Carter, who finished 3rd in the AL in stolen bases with 31 in 2025, was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times for Texas in the contest. The last-place Rangers now sit at 55-81.
Blaine Crim hit a 2-run home run off David Festa in the bottom of the first, which put the Rangers ahead, 2-0. In addition to the homer, Crim had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.
Texas manager Eric Jones said, "I thought we played well in all phases."
