Minnesota turned a good performance from starting pitcher Jace Stoffal into a 4-2 triumph over the Cleveland Guardians at Progressive Field. Minnesota reliever Joely Rodriguez snagged the win, upping his record to 6-2. Triston McKenzie shouldered the loss. Picking up the save was Alex Scherff. He's now 33 for 37 in save chances.

Harper Cox chipped in a run-scoring single for Minnesota in the top of the seventh. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Cox said after the game.

The Twins win now puts them at 85-49.
