Minnesota got a terrific game from right fielder Renzo Gonzalez. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Cleveland, 10-8. Gonzalez hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 5. Cleveland pitcher Jordan Hicks got the win, upping his record to 6-2. Pablo Lopez got the loss. Franco Aleman closed it out for Cleveland, earning his 1st save.

Miguel Bleis, who is tied for 8th in the AL in RBI with 95, chipped in a 3-run home run for Cleveland in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 2 home runs, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 5 runs batted in.

"Been a rough stretch for us," said Minnesota manager Ryan Ranta.

The Guardians saw their win-loss record go to 68-65. At the same time, the Twins fell to 67-67.
