Guardians Rally Late to Clip Minnesota
The Cleveland Guardians, despite a fine performance by Minnesota pitcher Joe Ryan, grabbed a 1-0 win in 10 innings at Progressive Field. Ryan allowed no runs over 7.1 innings. The Guardians saw their record improve to 67-65.

The Guardians got a clutch hit from second baseman Andres Gimenez. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Guardians.

"That's baseball," said Minnesota manager Ryan Ranta. "You're not always going to be hitting on all cylinders."
