Guardians Win 7-6 Nail-Biter Versus Twins
|
The timely hitting of Kyle Manzardo helped the Cleveland Guardians take down the Minnesota Twins, 7-6, in 15 innings. Manzardo was 4-6 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Guardians. With the win, the Guardians sit at 66-65.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 15th. With no one out, Manzardo hit a fastball from Jalen Beeks for a solo home run. The Guardians, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"This place went bonkers at the end," Manzardo said.
