Logan Webb, who is tied for 8th in the AL in wins with 12, propelled his team to victory over the Tampa Bay Rays. The final score was 4-3, Kansas City. Kansas City used a clutch at-bat from Sam Michelson to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Royals ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Logan made some big pitches when he needed to," said Royals manager Patrick Ochs.
