Phillies catcher Kevin Parada left his mark on his team's 7-5 win over the Washington Nationals. Parada, who is tied for 10th in the NL with a .523 slugging percentage, was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Philadelphia in the contest. Brandon Beckel earned his 24th save, after closing out the game. The last-place Phillies sport a record of 48-77.

Philadelphia used a clutch at-bat from Jasson Dominguez to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Phillies ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I feel like a little kid every time I put the uniform on," said Parada.
