The Texas Rangers beat the Minnesota Twins by a score of 6-4. Texas third baseman Josh Jung deserved the lion's share of the credit. Jung was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Rangers. Caleb Ferguson earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. Danny Jansen helped the Texas cause in the bottom of the eighth. With the bases empty, he hit a solo home run.
