The Texas Rangers overcame a good performance by New York left fielder Aaron Judge to knock off New York, 6-4, at Yankee Stadium. Judge went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Taj Bradley, who went 5 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 5 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 2. His record now stands at 13-9. Marc Church recorded the save, his 12th.
Adolis García had an important at-bat with two out in the top of the fifth, when he hit a bases-clearing triple. His 3rd triple of the season put Texas on top, 4-1.
"Winning is not something we take for granted," García said.
The first-place Rangers go to 64-54.
