Mets Get Clutch Win, 4-3

The New York Mets did just enough to sneak past the Miami Marlins, 4-3, at loanDepot Park. New York pitcher Darwin Rodriguez, in particular, had a standout performance. New York has a record of 54-62, placing them last in the National League East Division.
New York needed the clutch hitting of Cade Doughty to seal the deal. The designated hitter swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Mets on top, 4-3. For the game, Doughty had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
