Rangers Knock Off Orioles, 7-2
|
Texas Rangers starter Shane Bieber pitched his team past the Baltimore Orioles, 7-2. Joe Parks earned the save, his 2nd, for the Rangers. The second-place Rangers now have a win-loss record of 60-52.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, the Rangers grabbed the lead when Anthony Gutierrez rapped a two-out single. Texas was trailing 2-1, when Gutierrez hit a 2-run single off Sam Sloan to put his team in front, 3-2.
"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Bieber.
