Late Rally Gets 4-3 Win for Rangers
The Texas Rangers faced a tough opponent in Boston pitcher Gavin Stone, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Globe Life Field by a final score of 4-3. Stone went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Marc Church picked up the save, his 9th. The Rangers improve their record to 60-50 with the win over Boston.

Had Leody Taveras not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Taveras hit a 2-run home run. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Rangers.

"We're scuffling right now," said losing manager Joe Curtis.
