The Houston Astros converted a terrific effort from starter Dylan Cease into a win over the Texas Rangers at Minute Maid Park. The Astros won the game by a final score of 4-2. Aaron Combs recorded his 29th save for Houston. Houston is second in the American League West Division with a record of 60-47.

The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Kyle Tucker came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Texas pitcher Dylan MacLean, he hit a 1-1 curveball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Houston on top, 4-2.

In postgame remarks, Tucker hailed his team's "single-minded focus."
