Angels Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
The Los Angeles Angels beat the Oakland Athletics, 6-5. Los Angeles pitcher and Clemmons, North Carolina, native Brett Kerry led the way. The 4th-place Angels go to 47-57.

The knockout blow came in the bottom of the tenth inning. That's when left fielder Taylor Ward stepped to the plate with the bases loaded and hit a run-scoring single, to win the ballgame.
