Angels Defeat Mariners, 4-3
|
Los Angeles starter Jake Kalish pitched well against the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. Jimmy Herget, 1-3, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. The Angels, now 45-57, have won 4 in a row.
Los Angeles relied on the hitting of Randal Grichuk to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the 15th inning to put the Angels on top, 4-3. For the game, Grichuk had 1 home run and 2 singles in 7 at-bats.
"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Bill Webb, the Los Angeles skipper.
