The Rays grabbed a win, 6-3, at Target Field, overcoming a fine effort from Minnesota pitcher Jack O'Connor. O'Connor went 5.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. Tampa Bay is now 57-37, 9 games up in the American League East Division.

Tampa Bay used a timely hit from Justin Foscue to get the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Rays ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"I felt good up there," said Foscue. "I saw the ball well."
