Chourio Earns Praise as Brewers Topple Twins, 6-2
|
The Milwaukee Brewers stymied the Minnesota Twins, 6-2, at American Family Field. Jackson Chourio had a good day at the plate. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for Milwaukee. Milwaukee has a record of 38-49, placing them 4th in the National League Central Division.
In the bottom of the third, Chourio had a 2-run home run for Milwaukee. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Brewers on top, 3-1.
"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Minnesota manager Ryan Ranta. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
