The Texas Rangers went home winners at Globe Life Field, thanks in large part to starter Cody Bradford. Bradford stifled the New York Mets, enabling Texas to grab the 5-0 win. Texas improves to 38-35 with the win. They lead their division by 2 games.

Adolis García hit a 2-run double off Jose Berrios in the bottom of the third, which put the Rangers in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, García had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Bradford told a Texas Daily News reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
