Starting pitcher Sean Sullivan gave the Colorado Rockies a rock-solid effort. The Andover, Massachusetts native helped his team defeat the New York Mets, 3-2, at Colorado Field. The win was credited to 30-year old right-handed pitcher Gavin Hollowell in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Max Fried took the loss. At 28-45, the Rockies claim 4th place in the National League West Division.

Colorado took a 3-2 lead on Zac Veen's 16th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Veen hit in the bottom of the seventh, left New York pitcher Max Fried visibly frustrated.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Veen told the Colorado Chronicle.
