Giants Get Past Los Angeles for 3-2 Win
|
The San Francisco Giants got a stellar performance from pitcher Kyle Harrison, who handcuffed the Los Angeles offense en route to a win, 3-2, at Oracle Park. San Francisco now sits in second place in the National League West Division at 37-33.
Alex Verdugo was the walk-off hero for San Francisco. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Giants right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"This place was jumping at the end," Verdugo said.
