The Kansas City Royals defeated the Houston Astros, 5-4, in American League action at Kauffman Stadium. Kansas City pitcher Frank Mozzicato had a standout performance. At 37-34, Kansas City is in second place in the American League Central Division.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Kansas City trailing 4-3, Vinnie Pasquantino hit a changeup from Aaron Combs to center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Royals had a walk-off win.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Pasquantino said.
