Athletics Snatch Late Win
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 25-year old left fielder Cameron Leach, the Las Vegas Athletics stopped the Los Angeles Angels, 3-1. Jason Foley picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-0. Luke Murphy was tagged with the loss. Sam Hentges earned his 22nd save, after closing out the game.

Tommy Hawke, who finished 3rd in the AL in stolen bases with 40 in 2026, had a direct impact on the outcome. Hawke contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put Las Vegas up, 3-1.

"Makes our job easier," said Hawke, "when our pitchers shut the opposition down."

The Athletics now have a record of 35-36.
