Dickerson Stars in 8-6 Tigers Win
Korbyn Dickerson had a big hand in the 8-6 Detroit triumph over Los Angeles. He rattled off 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scoring 2 times and knocking in 4 runs. Jackson Jobe, credited with the win in relief, is now 4-2. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. The save was credited to Carlos Marcano, his 18th.

Detroit grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Dickerson hit a 2-run double off Mike Ferguson. His 3rd double of the season put the Tigers out in front, 8-6.

"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Dickerson told the Detroit Daily News.

The second-place Tigers hiked their record to 38-25.
