Riding the 2-hit performance of the 28-year old left fielder Austin Hays, the Baltimore Orioles stopped the Toronto Blue Jays, 4-2. Felix Bautista converted his 21st save in 22 tries. Baltimore is now 35-25.

Hays had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-1 fastball from Chad Green, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Orioles a 4-2 lead. It was the 9th home run of the year for Hays.

Hays told a Baltimore Herald reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
