Twins Topple Guardians, 7-5, as Kurtz Shines
Led by Nick Kurtz, the Minnesota Twins defeated the Cleveland Guardians, 7-5. Kurtz went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Twins. Alex Scherff wrapped it up, recording his 19th save. The Twins now own a record of 31-27.

Kurtz had a crucial hit for Minnesota with one out in the bottom of the fifth. With Minnesota trailing 5-4, Kurtz hit a 2-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Twins ahead, 6-5.

Kurtz said afterward that "winning is what it's all about."
