Home Loss Shrinks Mets Series Lead to 2-1
The Los Angeles Dodgers have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading New York Mets, winning 4-3 at Citi Field today. Dodgers right-hander Dustin May threw 5.2 innings allowing 2 runs. The win cuts the deficit facing the Dodgers to 2-1 in the best-of-7 League Championship Series.

Los Angeles used a clutch hit from Michael Busch to get the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Dodgers ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said New York skipper Dave Gawron, "and it cost us."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Citi Field in New York.
