The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Seattle Mariners, 4-3. Second Baseman Bobby Palicka deserved a large share of the credit. Palicka slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Rays. The win elevated the Rays to 30-24.

The decisive at-bat for Tampa Bay came with two out in the bottom of the seventh. With a runner on 1st, Palicka hit a 2-run home run for the walk-off win.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Palicka.
