Twins Hammered by Adell, Drop Game 2 to Red Sox
With left fielder Jo Adell leading the charge, the Boston Red Sox defeated the visiting Minnesota Twins, 7-4, in Game 2 of the Wild Card Game today. Adell went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice at Fenway Park to help Boston force a 1-1 tie in the best-of-3 series.

Jeremy Richardson, who finished 3rd in the AL in RBI with 133 in 2032, chipped in for Boston with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the first baseman had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.

"I'm glad we can make our fans happy with a win," Adell told the Boston Observer.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Fenway Park in Boston.
