Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Brewers
The Milwaukee Brewers picked up a win at American Family Field, dropping the New York Mets, 3-2. Drew Beam, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2024 draft, was the difference-maker. The Brewers saw their win-loss record go to 24-28. At the same time, the Mets fell to 25-25.

The decisive blow was delivered in the bottom of the ninth when William Contreras hit a solo home run off 28-year old left-handed pitcher Adrian Morejon to win the game for Milwaukee. The home crowd went wild.

"Drew -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Brewers manager Michael Jank. "He was the key to us winning."
