Twins Stick Guardians with 7-3 Loss
Cleveland catcher Bo Naylor was sensational. He was 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Minnesota beat the Guardians, 7-3. Simeon Woods Richardson got the win, improving to 6-2. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 4 hits and 1 run, while striking out 4 and walking 3. Jhoan Duran, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 9th save.

Minnesota used the bat of Jorge Polanco to capture the win. The designated hitter jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Twins ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Polanco told the Minnesota Bulletin.

The American League Central Division-leading Twins have a record of 26-20.
