In a low-scoring contest, Minnesota pitcher Drew Graham was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 3-1 win. In 7.1 innings, Graham surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. At 24-16, the Twins find themselves in first place in the American League Central Division.

Minnesota used a clutch at-bat from Renzo Gonzalez to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Twins ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Minnesota manager Ryan Ranta said.
