Brewers Down Cardinals, 3-2
|
The St. Louis Cardinals got a superb performance from pitcher Jordan Montgomery. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Milwaukee. The Brewers won the game, 3-2. Montgomery threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball. Milwaukee is last in the National League Central Division with a record of 16-23.
The most significant at-bat for Milwaukee came with runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the 12th. Brewers first baseman Nathaniel Lowe hit a run-scoring single to win the game.
"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Lowe said.
